Shower Curtain Chronicles

Latex painted shower curtains make great, cheap, waterproof banners to display at demonstrations, over freeways or anyplace you want to take it to the anti-gay, anti-Constitution fascists. This blog will feature banners I've made over the years, commentary on the outrages du jour, general observations and accounts of the latest actions by our blog troop as we wield the bathroom accessory cum political billboard.

Total Information, Total Control

A whistle blower from AT&T has told the New York Times that Bush started pushing for illegal, blanket surveillance of Amercans' phone calls just TWO WEEKS after he took (and I DO mean took) office...TWO WEEKS! You see, it's never been about terrorism or national security, it's about controlling Americans, it's about Bush suppressing political dissent so he and his fascist entourage who overthrew our government through election fraud can pursue their greedy, bloody, unconstitutional, unAmerican agenda with impunity. By placing every American under surveillance and treating them as a potential enemy of the state, citizens are not likely to, in any serious way, make a fuss about the real traitors, the real enemies of freedom and democracy occupying the White House. People won't organize any serious resistance to the totalitarian onslaught with Bush's spy agencies crawling up everyone's ass with a microscope.

This one act epitomises what they're doing: On November 12, 2001, the same day the Wall Street Journal reported the results of the 2000, Florida presidential election audit showing that BUSH LOST the election, the Attorney General of the United States announced to the press that opposing Bush's policies is "tantamount to terrorism." See how that works? You overthrow the government and then scare everybody into keeping their mouths shut about it. It's not about security, it's about intimidation. Total control. It didn't start after 9/11, it started right after Bush took office. And, it's interesting to note that the 2000 presidential election audit that showed Bush lost the election was originally to be released in early September, 2001.
